Experience self development and learn problem solving skills from the first session. I have provided over twenty-five years of successful counseling to clients in the treatment of mental health, men's concerns, and substance abuse.

My therapy style is interactional and motivational. I combine insight and personal self-awareness work with a concrete cognitive-behavioral approach to daily implementation. I am committed to my clients to help maximize their ability to grow, change, and accomplish their personal life goals.

I have worked in a broad range of treatment settings, both in-patient and out-patient. I offer an effective experience for my clients that utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches. I am on most insurance panels and have a sliding fee payment schedule. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am certified in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).

My clinical training was at the University of Georgia, where I obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work. I also have a B.A. and M.S. from the University of Texas. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers. My office in Century Center has a lake view that offers a peaceful and relaxing setting away from the stress of daily living.
